With several thousand editorial users across 80 properties, the CCI NewsGate data center at Gannett Co. will be the world’s largest data center solution in the news industry.

Gannett Co. publishes 82 daily U.S. newspapers, including USA TODAY, the nation's largest-selling daily newspaper, and more than 600 magazines and other non-dailies including USA WEEKEND. Gannett Co. is an Internet leader with hundreds of newspaper and TV web sites and operates 23 television stations in 19 U.S. markets.

The objective of the NewsGate project is to enable staff to simply and quickly collect, edit and move content to Gannett’s multiplatform publishing environments, including mobile, web, print and broadcast.

The NewsGate data center solution for Gannet includes a primary data center on the east coast and an identically configured backup data center in western U.S.
