Standard applications

A number of standard applications like Microsoft Word and Adobe Photoshop have been integrated into NewsDesk's database-driven workflow meaning that content is locked when being edited and new versions are automatically created in the database when the user saves changes.

Choice of design tools

NewsDesk comes with both CCI LayoutChamp and Adobe InDesign/InCopy, providing page designers with two strong design tools. A highly granular and automated template page functionality ensures that the page designers can focus on the elements that demand time and creativity. 

Workflow control

Throughout the entire editorial workflow and production process, texts, photos, graphics and pages are equipped with relevant states reflecting in detail the current stage in the workflow. Sophisticated database lists and views are available to provide the particular set of information that is relevant at the different stages in the workflow.
