CCI AdDesk Production - Workflow

After extensive consultation between CCI Europe and the customer an optimal workflow for ad production is identified and implemented in the CCI System.

CCI DB Access is the primary tool for users to interact with the database, as all other applications can be accessed here. From CCI DB Access users can browse the database for ads, track individual ad elements and take control of the overall workflow.

Elements within CCI DB Access are easy to handle and view. Simple predefined windows provide users with a comprehensive list of the ad elements (such as ad number, advertisers name, run date, product information, proof requirement, deadlines, etc) that enable the user to find material quickly.

Service baskets can be utilized to coordinate the workflow between users by providing different user groups with their own baskets. That way the users can concentrate on the elements that are just relevant to them. Each step in the workflow has its own basket, which is dynamically updated as soon as an element has been modified.

CCI RouteManager directs the ad from one service basket to another depending on the status of the advertisement. When an ad comes into CCI AdDesk Production it is assigned a predefined ad production route, which, if is unsuitable, can be redefined in CCI RouteEdit. The entire routing process is completely customizable and the sophisticated linking structure means that elements are not duplicated in the database, as once an element's designation has been changed the link is just updated rather than generating a copy of the entire element.
